What is the difference between Joy and Happiness?
Is there any difference between being joyful and being happy?
I feel qualified to answer your question only because I have experienced both happiness and Joy. To put this as simple as I can right now, Happiness comes from Situations, family, a new pair of Doc Martins. Happiness comes from external things, Things outside of ourselves. Joy, on the other hand comes from inside ourselves. It's an internal, over the top emotion that seems to radiate from the inside outward. Others can see it in you and some are drawn to it. Most outside situations, can't make it go away, but once you find it do everything you can to guard it. It can be lost as quickly as found. I believe to feel this way, even for the short time that I did is truly a blessing. I hope this was a help to who ever is interested. Thanks
