Does life give you a second chance? Is it true things get better with time?

They say things get better with time , just like wine. But what if it isn't true; things & moments just tend to stale and there is no chance to revert back to the better state. Even if they don't get better but can we get another chance at it , to do things differently this time. This arises another question 'can things be done differently, as in can we change the way we really were' or else 'do we really learn from our mistakes?'.
Being human , optimisim is an integral part of us so we just tend to pray for situations to turn our way . And I hope it does for me and for all of us.

There's no point in thinking about the past. It is over, done. You cannot go back to it so why even think about it. All you can do is live in the moment and create a better future for yourself..

Humans are ever evolving and ever changing beings. You just have to accept that.

We will make the same mistakes. Life's sojourn is for learning lessons, in a sense. if you are anything like me, you will find that we make the same mistake over and over again. There is no second chance, as such. Life is one continuous stream. perhaps you can call re-incarnation a second chance, but it isn't . The soul is simply continuing on its journey to the Godhead.

Yes, it's an evolutionary process and generally we are moving forward not backward, although we can grow in a spiral and the journey may be slow. Ultimately things will get better yes. Feel that you are not in charge, make God the Attorney and pray for Grace.
