For a couple months now, I have lost interest in religion, metaphysics etc. I don't know why. I havent been having any insights, synchronicities, and seeing numbers.

Does your interest cause them to manifest?

If you have lost interest, they won't manifest, maybe ...

Interests change. Find out what your new interest is. It might be something more amazing. More real. More pertinent to your life in practical way.
For instance, astronomy: the latest going-ons in the universe. There's a lot of space out there and things are happening!

This involves inner space: your brain!  I like to draw with colored pencils. I shade with blue, green and red pencils and highlight with yellow, pink and orange. I find the basic forms first by shading in blobby shapes with the side of a pencil, usually blue. Then I define the structure of the blobby shapes using shadows and highlights. After I create objects/images, I use line to indicate crevices, holes and incisions.  I avoid outlining unless I want to emphasize the contour.

To come up with images and themes, I doodle with a ball point pen or Sharpie. Mostly I experiment, not really producing. After I figure out an idea for composition/picture then I get into production mode.

To illustrate a picture using Pen and Ink: I create/find the forms/images of the picture by cutting out the "doodles" I like and placing them on the page. Then, I transfer them using graphite/pencil. Once I draw the whole picture in pencil, I go over it using pen and ink. I find ways to indicate shadow and textures using cross-hatch techniques.

What do you like draw with? Charcoal?
        Pencil?

Lately, I have been drawing on a white board with dry erase markers. You can erase so easily. You learn quickly about how to draw using a white board.

All I have to draw with right now is number 2 pencils. I m sure they aren't the best. But it's what I have for now.

I found Crayola brand dry-erase markers, the whole rainbow assortment, at Ralph's! So Excellent!

Once, I drew a picture on the white board in a classroom when I was subbing. I thought the kids would enjoy what I had drawn.  Oh no! They saw it as an invitation to draw on the white board. I let them do it for about five minutes before calling the class to order smile They loved me after that.
I took a picture and made a card of the drawing. I would post it here, but am not that technically savy. I hope you will post yours. You can make cards too ... at Walgreens.
At the 99, the white boards are super cheap. Get another one!
