I have come to the revelation through my relationship with Him that I needed to not only walk in the salvation of My King but in His Lordship as well. Many Christians receive Him as Savior far fewer receive Him as Lord too ... that takes total surrender and a willingness to hand over the reigns of your life. It takes trusting that He is not a man that He should lie and believing that His Word doesn't return void. I admit there are many days that I take the reigns back but it is only in allowing Him full reign that I find victory. So now, I acknowledge Him as not only Savior but Lord of my life. Do you make that distinction as well?
Yes.......ahhhhhhh.........friday nite on hubpages..........
This is serious faith! How many more Christians are there--out there--that have totally surrendered their minds this way? Wow!
Why tell us? Your irrational beliefs would probably be best left unsaid.
That way you do not intentionally provoke mockery.
The kingdom of god is within you,I tell ye you are all gods, Please understand Jesus wants you to wake up to the god in you..
It is a daily exersize to yeild for me. I find that when I focus on the surrender I am less concerned with the distractions and more sucessful.
As for all the hubbers hitting new lows on the thread - a few of you look like complete imbeciles Enjoy it while you can.
Do you know Him not only as Savior but Lord?
Hi friends
Jesus cannot save anybody on his own; only with the grace and mercy of the Creator- God Allah YHWH; one could be saved; as was Jesus saved a cursed death on the Cross.
Thanks

I am curious, what key was used to decode Jesus' encoded message that is contained within his teachings?
Do you know Him not only as Savior but Lord?
Yes, he is our only hope, he is the only superhero we can trust
Yes I know him, but cannot share the happenings during our encounter, I don't kiss and tell. sorrry
Umm...Kimberly, I think you are stretching your age a little bit, don't you?
The comments here are about as low as I have seen here on HubPages. It is no different now than it was when Jesus was crucified.
History proves Jesus to have existed and many writers outside of Christianity have written about Him and yet you still cry out, "Crucify Him!"
Out of all of history this one man did no harm to anyone at all and had no ill will toward anyone.
Jesus is the Lord of lords and King of kings. Nothing can take tnhat title away from Him and yet, He is so much more than that. He is the only hope for everyone. It is by His blood that man can be reconciled with God.
For those of you who think it is funny to mock Him as you do, I am reminded of some scripture from Proverbs. Pro 1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
Pro 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
Pro 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
Pro 1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Pro 1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Pro 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
Mock on!
We are assured that we will be mocked ... but so was He and how much more should we pick up our cross and walk. Mockery will always come. Thanks for sharing despite all.
I commend you on your ability to maintain a completely closed mind.
If you could look at your religion with an objective view, you would mock it too. It's silly, and you know it. That's why you won't defend it; because it is indefensible. Blind faith is all you have really.
This is not mockery, but an objective rational response.
There's a big difference between defending your beliefs from mockery and defending your beliefs with fabrications, SirDent.
History does not prove anything about the existence of Jesus.
Tsk, tsk, tsk, SirDent. Shame on you.
What an insecure, little, whiney, brutal, sniffling, childish god you serve. Someone believing in this should seriously take an objective look into their beliefs. A being such as this should be called something other than god, unless god is synonymous with ridiculous.
I call Him ... ABBA ... which means Father. Thank you for sharing despite the comments of others.
You sure will be mocked when you present arguments like these!
You expect people to believe in a pathetic little god who is gonna have the last laugh like in some school yard game?
That is as pathetic as your belief system!
Hi friends
Jesus cannot save anybody; he himself awaits grace and mercy of the Creator- God Allah YHWH to be saved. He was only a servant of God Allah YHWH assigned with a Message from him to be conveyed to the Jews in Judea and elsewhere like Jonah as he himself pegged his case with him.
Please don't remain in any illusion.
Thanks

For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity--the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 1 John 4:15Who is the liar? "In the 1611 KJ New Testament the name Yahshua (Yehoshua) appeared originally wherever the Messiah was spoken of. Yehoshua means Yehovah is Salvation. Later the Messiah's name was replaced with Iesus (Greek) which later in the 1600's itbecame Jesus starting with the new English...
