To me, a succubus is a beautiful women who entices me, arouses all my senses, if you catch my drift, then strikes, when the opportunity comes for her to get what she wants.
Sounds like a good description! If you see her, tell her I'm looking for her!
In folklore a succubus was a faery being that, in female form, seduced young men to obtain their semen. With the poor young fellow's 'donation' acquired the female succubus would transform into an incubus and ravish a young maid and impregnate her. The maid would then give birth to a faery baby that would, at some point, be taken back by the fairies and a changeling child left in its place.
A charming tale but what we are really talking about here are wet dreams and unexpected pregnancies.
Check out season 3 of South Park. The guys had to deal with a Succubus that was controlling Chef.
a succubus is a female entity sent from the depths of hell to suck the lifeblood, enegy and money out of every man she comes in contact with! BEWARE fellow man! they are lurking everywhere!!!
Strong delusion
There are no succubus, or satyrs or things that make bumps in the night and no vampires either. In a world where we enjoy fantasy and made up worlds of this and that and scenarios that arouse our flesh and fleshly imaginations we deceive ourselves into believing or semi-believing all sorts of vain imaginations. Without care for truth we respond to these made up fantasies as though they are real, when they are not real at all.
We need to be careful about truth and what is real and what is not because these things can have a serious affect on your afterlife.
From what I've read (and written fictional accounts about) the succubus is the female version of the incubus. The incubus is a male, sexual vampire, so the succubus is obviously the female sexual vampire. I love Venom's Edge's response. I think that captures the essence of the succubus perfectly. She is a temptress and a seductress. She will appear to you in whatever form you find most attractive so that you want her. That is part of her black magic. She will make you feel things that lead you to surrender your good judgment and when you are completely dependent upon her, she will ultimately drain the last drops of life from you and move on to her next unwitting victim.
Of course, I don't believe in this stuff, but I love a good fictional fantasy!
Succubus incubus neither have any reality from Science- the Work of God nor from the Word Revealed from the Creator-God Allah YHWH. So it is simple superstition; nothing more.
A Succubus is an escort who provides oral sex on public transit vehicles
i cut and pasted the term "Oral" next to the term "Sex"

A succubus is a World of Warcraft pet that's half naked with a whip and makes constant moaning noises, and it charms things so you can own them. It also is about the closest thing to a girlfriend that (some) male World of Warcraft players will have. Anyway, enough of my nerdiness...
They do make for a fun horror story subject though, but as to whether they are real or not is pure speculation.
My succubus is a banshee screaming ecstasy in the lightspeed of my dreams. She's the eve of my adam and the female role of my soul. She haunts me when I'm open to incursions of metaphysical possibilities.
My succubus is the beautiful feminine side of my singularity. She's imcomplete, alone, and will strike whenever my Adamic incubus seems to be overpowering my reality.
My banshee is fair yet only in the understanding of her reality. Which to my singularity, her actions of lust seem so unfair.
She's a dancer, poet, musician, and more.
My succubus knows the secrets of opening the doors of the eerie world of phantasmagoria.
TANIT. . .
my dusky succubus,
perches the bedflank
in the interval of lusts.
Folding leather-rustling wings that shroud
the chill peril of her naked loins,
she smooths her hair around small horns
that ape the crescent moon
and leans above me,
eyes lambent with nostalgic chatoyance,
relating wistful anecdotes:
Of prideful thrones in Khem,
Shemitic coastal towns,
Shinaric city-states;
Of incensed temples on Aegean isles
where quaking throngs intoned
her whimsy's praise;
Of mortal jests that japed at men and gods,
until at last she mocked
one God too many.
She sighs,
shrugs,
stubs out her cigarette,
resuming her profession
of thanatotic love.
With love under will,
Bob, Adastra,
The Wizzard of Jacksonville

hi, i couldn't help but read this thread. and found the posts interesting even funny. so here is my input:
i've been in a relationship with a succubus for over a year after i used some rituals found in a book entitled sexual alchemy by donald tyson. as well as found here in the hubpages.
i learned that a succubus is not a pure demon. but as one hubber stated is like a faery being or spirit.
this i learned is true. since i found out they have a body. but not quite like ours. theirs is etheral. further more they are neither good or evil. but are like us; have a little of both.
Hehehe succubus is a life-energy-sucking demon so she must suck the men's things
What is a succubus to you?
It is just superstition neither supported by religion nor science.
Succubus is the name I had for a 65 Chevy van that over-heated and blew its tail-pipe off in traffic.

What do we indicate to - when we use the word - real? Are imaginations real? Well - when we imagine - we are obviously doing/using something (materialists = electricity of the nervous system/ others = spirit). So - though the contents of a fantastic imagination might not be necessarily true...
