Don't have one, I was brought to faith in an AoG (Assemblies of God) have fellow-shipped in Pentecostal and Baptist bodies, regularly meet with (renegade) Charismatic Catholics, and belong to a loose association of believers worldwide who converse about Christ, but I do not 'belong' to any denomination, I simply believe and follow His instructions.
There is ONLY one church (those set apart) and it belongs to Christ, not a denomination or system, and all those who are His know each other by their actions and words, and obedience to the Word.
And.... yes, we still muck things up on occasion and none are perfect, just made righteous BY Christ, not of our own accord, but by His righteousness.
The body of Christ does not need further division... just lets remain the body!! Unity is strength ...heard somewhere..
God Bless!
there are so many offshoots that call themselves christians - I'm just curious
I am an Ahmadi peaceful Muslim. We believe in Jesus Christ; not as god or son of god; he was just a human being flesh ,bones etc a truthful Messenger Prophet servant of the Creator-God Allah YHWH like Moses, Krishna,Buddha, Zoroaster and Muhammad. Being an Ahmadi peaceful Muslim one has to believe in the truthfulness of all the Prophets academically; not even one is to be excluded; in that sense Jesus Christ is a part of our belief and in that sense apart from being firmly Muslims, true followers of Muhammad- the Seal of the Prophet; we have a claim to be the only true Christians also as we are the only true followers of Moses,Krishna,Buddha,Zoroaster etc.
I am not a denomination of the "Christianity" invented by Paul that has nothing to do with Jesus the Christ; but the "Truthful Christianity of Jesus";whose Second Coming has already taken place in the years 1835-1908, symbolically.
Jesus is not going to come literally and physically, as he died a natural and peaceful death is buried at Mohallah Khanyar, Srinagar, Kashmir, India.
The Christian could wait for the literal coming of Jesus till eternity as the Jews are waiting of the coming of Moshiach; it is their free will.
Muslims = Islam? Islam & christianity have common roots, but differ in that christians believe the writings of Paul & Muslims believe Mohammad?
Sorry;Jesus' true followers never followed Paul; Paul was an enemy of Jesus and his follower; before and after Paul's Illegitimate vision he never saw. Jesus was at that time heading towards India to spread his teachings to the lost 10 tribes residing there and the neighboring regions.
Others could differ with me with reasons.
There are a lot of Christians on Hub Pages, although this is probably not the best time of day/night to catch them!
I will be very interested to see how they self-identify in terms of denomination.
I myself am a Catholic married to a Lutheran.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints though most popularly known as the "Mormon" church.
Non denominational. If I needed to claim one I would have to say I lean more towards pentecostal.
I have a strong, solid foundation in the faith due to a Southern Baptist upbringing, but at this time I am a member of a Bible church. It does have many things in common with the Baptists, but it's not a total match. The most important identification for me is Bible believing Christian.
I was raised Baptist, but went into Pentecostal churches, no church has my name in their book as a member, I feel as a christian I am a member of the church I go to, as long as my name is in the Lamb's book of Life, I do not need my name in other books

In the Bible it is clear that Jesus was Jewish. You will find it written multiple times, however what religion was he leading the followers to? Catholicism believes that Jesus told Peter, " And I say unto thee, thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hell...

Can only Christians and those who accept Jesus Christ go to heaven?According to Christianity, only those who have openly accepted Jesus Christ and the Christian faith may go to heaven. If that is the case, what about the African tribe who has never heard of of Jesus? Even if they are good people,...

Why does it seem most Christians are immature. It seems most people professing to be Christian do not have a proper grounding in the scriptures. They drink the milk but do not seem to be able ( or maybe no desire?) to eat the real meat- understand the deeper things of God, in spite of the fact...

As Christians, we should be the most kind and loving because of our faith and because of the ultimate example, Jesus Christ. I've noticed that some denominations are criticized for being different within Christianity. For example, many mainstream Christians seem to focus on the teachings of Paul...

There's a lot of going back and forth about how Christians are this that or another. Yet no one ever pins down exactly what specific belief it is that makes Christians delusional, or hateful or whatever. The fact is that not all Christians believe the same thing, and not even members of our own...
