As a man or woman created by God whom see the last hour of the year. what are you usually doing at the last hour of the year?
since i became a child of God, i have make it my responsibilities to use the last hours of the year praying to my God.
I am usually at church praying when the New Year arrive, and I will be praising God for bringing me through a New Year, and giving thanks.
I cannot help but wonder, if a person is serious about wanting the last hour of the year to be one that honor's their God, why spend it on prayer or church when they could be serving hot food to the homeless, or something else that actually shows other people the love of God that they say they feel?
It seems very hollow to me to say that prayer or church is the best most honourable way to spend time in the service of God. Helping hands are always greater then prayerful lips. Bragging about your time spent praying sounds self serving as well, boastful at the very least
kristenblog, I don't think no one should wait until the New Year to serve hot food to the homeless. Those things should be done throughout the year, and my church happens to be a part of it, and so I am. I truly hope you feel better and get that chip off your shoulder. I forgive you for insulting me by labeling me as boastful simply because I answered a question on this thread topic. God loves you. Happy New Year!
Woman Of Courage, I did not mean or intend to insult you and for that I wish to apologise. My sense of annoyance really comes down to the fact that the OP poster has started up a number of threads when one thread would have been more then sufficient (why start so many threads that look exactly the same unless there is something motivating that need to keep creating new threads with the same basic message). That annoyance was not directed at you and yet by being annoyed and writing from that emotion I have insulted you, you do not deserve that insult. I hope you are having a nice New Years! Is your church doing any public service today? This winter is a pretty darned cold one and even just offering a hot cup of soup would likely be a big relief to many
kristenblog, Your appology is accepted. I have noticed the number of threads which is similar, and I chose to respond to only this one. Thank you. I am having a wonderful New Year. Actually, my church is not doing any public service today, but they are regularly on the mission for helping the poor and needy in a variety of things along with hot meals for the homeless. I help out on the mission team on certain Saturdays monthly. It's such a blessing. I hope the best for you in this New Year.
I do believe that this year I will be writing a hub about my hopes for my family, my country, and myself for this the new year about to arrive. God helped get us through the last year, and with any luck at all, He will get us moving in the right direction for the next year. We keep on keeping on, making our way through this thing called life, making our mistakes, asking God for help or wisdom or whatever we think He can spare to make our way better or easier. Sometimes we forget that we are the ones that have to make intelligent choices every day in order to improve our lot in life. God may lend a helping hand every once in a while, but for the most part it is up to us to figure things out. We need our own strength, love, heart, character, honor, truth, and justice to get through each day and each new year. So Happy New Year to all hubbers, and a big thumbs up.

It seems that some people feel the need to tell others about their compulsion to talk to the ceiling, on New Years Day.
Last hour of life on earth by the hand of a super nature God?
Well, have lots of sex, then lay my head down between my legs, and kiss my ass, good buy.
All because only 144,000 are going to heaven according to the good book of an all loving God.
Chicken little, is the sky falling again?.... not
Meditating over all the mistakes I made during the current year, and thinking of ways to improve in the new year. Right now I am thinking of ways to improve my writing and make more money onlline and on hub pages.
