   From the unusual News Articles quoted in our END TIMES Report, we've questioned - "HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD?" WHAT IS YOUR OPINION: "Are Extraterrestrials and UFO's real? They have become accepted as NORMAL and reality by many people in our pop-culture today. Sightings are more abundant now than in any other time in history. Are UFO's part of Biblical Prophecy? News headlines indicate that Muslim devotees also agree with this concept according to their recent "Nation of Islam Convention" in Chicago. Is there a need for concern? Are UFO's Heaven-sent or are they part of the Antichrist's plan? Fictional shows like the X-Files state that "The Truth is Out There", but what really is the truth to it all?

      christ4ever,Rev.Ted: Needless to say I was shocked to see that you had entered this in the "Hub Forums" especially since I know you to be a "Minister of God", BUT, as I read it for a second time, I began thinking to myself: How arrogant as humans we must seem to be, if we believe that our planet, and the people who inhabit it would believe that earth is the only planet in all the universe to possibly exist with life of any form existing on it. That got me to thinking further about the idea that given that other planets exist, with life, if their life were able to travel from such a far distance to observe our planet, how inferior as a people, as a race, we must appear to them. Truly if both peoples were to meet face to face, some humans might view those from another planet as "God-like" but not necessarily as God.
      
      As Christians we believe that one day Jesus Christ is going to return to earth to do spiritual battle with Lucifer, a battle that will destroy life as we know it, and that a new life will appear out of the rubble and God will reign. Is it possible that when Jesus was born in Bethlehem, that the star seen by the Magi and the shepherds, was some UFO and the angels seen where aliens, who knows? Is it possible that God and Jesus are co-rulers of some other planet outside our galaxy from some unknown universe or from some other planet within, who knows? Maybe heaven is some huge spaceship. Is it possible that when Jesus returns, he will descend to earth from some huge spaceship, who knows?
      
      I believe that God is God, Jesus is Jesus and the writings of the Holy Bible are from God and Jesus, inspired by the Holy Spirit, written by the hands of man. Therefore if Jesus is an alien and is still capable of performing the miracles he performed, and, is able to fulfill His promises made in the Holy Bible then who am I to doubt that Jesus is some alien or that some alien is Jesus. Fulfill Bible Prophesy and I will call you what you want and believe what you wish, do not fulfill it, and you will be seen as the anti-christ or his messenger.

         Hi Brother Dave! I was hoping to see some good comments in here just to "stir" the thinking process. You made some interesting points and I think that is what the controversy is out there in regards to what the "secular" and "new age" world views are versus traditional church thinking. The Lord did say he would call a "peculiar" people (Deuteronomy 14:2 Amplified) and I'm just one of those Pastor's being called in these days that will raise the questions and topics that many will not go near. -LOL
         
         Those were not necessarily my words quoted in this thread and I wasn't meaning to imply quite as far a stretch of the imagination in regards to my own beliefs (though much of God is still a mystery). I was actually just reporting what the NEWS Headlines are reflecting out there from some of the recent articles sited in the series. It was interesting that at the Islamic Conference recently held in Chicago, they noted that their modern prophet is having visions of a "UFO" type ship coming to deliver the "Muslim Messiah" ready to avenge Allah's people.
         
         I did not wish to imply that these particular modern "phenomena" are necessarily derived form the Lord (Ezekiel's visions not-with-standing), but at least IMO, that they might be yet another device that will be used by God's adversary to further confuse the masses and perpetrate the lies that the world in general is starting to believe in their pop-culture.
         
         Lots of "strange" unexplained things going on out there, along the lines of  (Mark 13:21-23; ACTS 2:17-19; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10) "SIGNS and WONDERS?" which will become more prevalent in these times that we live. The Holy Spirit weighs heavily on me that these things are merely some of those "unidentified" WONDERS (flying or not) that are all part of the enemy's deceptive trickery.

            Rev.Ted: It is interesting that you bring up the reference of Ezekiel. I'm sure that if any man today were to actually see one of the angelic warriors guarding the throne of God as described in Chapter one of the book of Ezekiel, they might think such an angelic being as being some UFO, But, I know it is not so.

               You go that right... Those verses are what started the whole "Chariots of the Gods" pop-culture thing, trying to imply that angelic visitations were ET's. I guess in one sense they are technically "not of this world", just from our Lord GOD and creator instead.
               
               But, therein hides one of the "lies" that is being cast over the eyes of many in our world, in trying to assign some fantastic scientific (or Sci-Fi) explanation for something that is completely spiritual in nature.

      It is true the signs of the End Times have been fulfilled and Second Coming of Jesus in the form of the Promised Messiah 1835-1908 has already taken place. Ati-Christ representing teachings which Jesus never mentioned are being exposed; all the Revealed Religions will get united under the teachings of the Promised Messian with peaceful arguments; the atheists will also be convince with brillian arguments and no force.
      
      UFO, I don't think, have any scientific reality as yet; it might be just a superstition.

   i think someone is watching ancient aliens to much lol. I believe aliens and gods could be the same thing. It all depends on how you look at the evidence and how openminded you are!

      u have good point...in ancient cultures we have writeups stating gods visiting earth...may be from there came idea of god and may be those so called gods were aliens...if religious god can be true ,so can this be...

   Are UFO's part of Biblical Prophecy? Probably...no doubt that the interest in UFO's that has grown and grown since H.G. Wells performed the radio skit to "War of the Worlds"...or since the Germans were believed to have made flying saucers that could fly over to NeuSchwabsland...that some how this interest will come to play in defining the mysteries that go on from now until Jesus comes.

   first, as christians, in order to believe in life on other planets we have to ask ourselves some questions:
   
   1) Is Gods plan of salvation different than on our world?
   
   We know that the universe is in God. So no planet anywhere would be outside the influence or circumspect of God. Since God is holy he would have to be recruiting inhabitants to Him in some way. Can we imagine a world where adam did not fall? and where God did not have to sacrifice His Son? Is there a bible on every planet or is this unique to our world only?
   
   2)Since flesh is used on this world; is God using some other type of vehicle other than flesh to meet his needs? We have heard of scientific explanation about thin, tall big eyed buglike creatures that live in low gravity or heavy, without light, etc. Is God dealing with this other life form?
   
   3) Do we have Gods full attention? Since God is dealing with His people on this planet can we assume that He also is dealing with other planets and thus is way busier than we imagine
   
   4) Would He allow them to contact us? If another planet that has no God awareness were to come here and tell us that on their planet they have no knowledge of a God at all... surely this would defeat Gods plan. If they came here and said.. oh you got a bible too and its like word for word. Would that not end our faith walk because this would indeed be concrete proof that God exists. Since our days are numbered here, long before we get to travel at the speed of light i have to ask how did this other planet get to live so long? Did their bible not have a book of revelation?
   
   Personally, i believe that we have Gods full attention and that salvation is being worked upon no other planet. I believe that God would not let them contact us. I do not believe that new jerusalem is a spaceship or that the draconians are planning some invasion.
   
   As for UFOS. I believe we can blame much of this on the scientific branch of government research in propulsion and aerodynamics and the war dept. Christ says many strange things shall we see here and many will say "here is christ and there" but we are not to marvel at these or the false signs and wonders of which a satan would sum matters up tidily, if satan existed. Often i find undefinable circumstances are ascribed to humankind and not some demonic entity who rallies against God.
