Because they want to conquor the world for self glory. They simply want to enjoy earthly, mortal, unhuman treasures for the sake of society. They do not bother for poor, sick, helpless, downtrodens, society's image etc. They are like disobedient child falling down and down and does not bother...

The Greeks as well as the Pagans know why gods need worshipers. They feed on worship. That's why the Christian god wants worshipers and threatens anyone who doesn't worship him with eternal torture. Let it be resolved that we kill these parasites. Starve them to death.
