How many countries of d world have lifted the world cup more than twice.
My question is all about football
I am doing this from memory, so... double check Wikipedia. But this is what I remember:
Brazil has won 5 times (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002).
Italy has won 4 times (1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006).
Germany has won 3 times (1954, 1974 and 1990).
Argentina won twice (1978 and 1986)
Uruguay won twice (1930 and 1950)
England and France each have won once (1966 and 1998).
Hope that helps. Note that because of World War II, there was no world cup in 1942, 1946.
