I don't know if that applies really. I have seen and heard of 4-5 year olds who weightlift. My own grandchild has been doing it since he was 5 with his dad a trained weightlifter, and though its controlled because of his size I see it as safe for him to do because he's not reckless, but thats my opinion. IF you talk to someone with a medical background, their answer could be a lot more different. Peace
When I was younger I was told 15. I personally started at 16.
You can lift almost at any age, if your looking for activity for kids. The way you lift when young would be very different then after puberty.
If you really want to see results and bodily changes from lifting (other than just getting a few calories burned), then after puberty.
