If you are running an NFL team who would you want your starting QB to be?
Active QB's or all time? Active is obviously Aaron Rodgers, yes even over Tom Brady. He's younger than Brady and more mobile than Brady ever was but just as accurate. All time I'll go with John Elway. Montana has more rings but he was with the right team and the right head coach. Elway carried some mediocre Bronco teams to the Super Bowl and when he finally had great teammates around him, he managed to win it all. I think Elway could carry mediocre talent better than Montana or any other QB for that matter. That's why he'd be my pick if we're going all time QB's.
I think right now I would go with Aaron Rodgers also. As far as all-time there are so many choices, why not say Dan Marino?
If you're asking present day, then Ben Rothlisberger. He has the arm, the eye, and the ability to extend plays out like no one else. If we are talking all-time, then Joe Montana. One rifle of an arm, and he had absolute control of the field, knowing when and where to switch offense strategies to take advantage of defensive formations.
Cam Newton. Just because of the potential I see in him. Rodgers is the conventional pick, but Newton has a chance to be more dangerous......so.....Cam Newton 2 years from now. HAHAHA!!!

All-time debate, who is the best NFL QB of all time, Elway or Montana?I understand Montana never lost a super Bowl, 4 for 4. 3 of those 4 he was blessed with the greatest WR of all time, J Rice. He also had a rock solid defense while have an above avg running game. Now, Mr Elway went to...

This guy told me to chill out on my criticism of Joe Flacco. What I criticize is his 77 quarterback rating. Someone says that Flacco is better than both Romo and Eli, I say no way he is better than neither. I think it's close between Romo and Manning I think Romo puts up better numbers but Manning...
