Is television trying to cram soccer down our throats?

Does anyone watch this other than people from other countries where this sport is big? The field is too big; the scores too low, and just plain boring. Maybe they are trying to capture a riot live. Like a wreck at NASCAR. I love sports, but I'd rather watch curling. How 'bout you?

Soccer is not really a big draw in the US.  So at least here, I don't think it is rammed down our throat--but I would say football is!

I totally see your point, the olympics showed that there is any amount of sports out there other than football.
I for one love mountain biking and couldn't wait to watch the race on the olympics but sadly that is the only time you will see it on the tv mainly because there is a constant stream of football and no room for other sports.
