NFL - What team is the best in AFC right now?

It is the month of December and it is playoff season.

Is it Texans, Broncos, Pats, Ravens, Steelers or Bengals, include Colts to the list.

Houston Texans is by far the best, followed by the Patriots.

I'm biased because of Peyton Manning, so I will have to say the Broncos.

In the AFC it's definitely Texas right now, but I'm a die hard Baltimore Ravens fan.

Texans play the Patriots this Monday night. Broncos are at the Ravens next week. Among other things, these teams are playing for the number one seed in the playoffs and home field advantage throughout.

If the Texans beat the Patriots at their place on Monday night, they are the best team right now. They will have the best record by at least two games, and have already defeated the Broncos.

Of course, the best team right now isn't necessarily going to be the best team in January. It's all about what team is hot a month from now and has minimal injures.

I agree, it depends on who wins the Monday Night game this week.  Injuries are a big factor, just look at the Steelers and Ravens.

Sure don't look like it's the Texans after that fiasco last night. Ask me after this week's games. Broncos at Ravens, 49ers at Patriots, Colts at Texans.

I think that Texans can get the home field advantage but  the Pats can beat them in the final AFC championship.
