Who is your favorite NFL football player and why?

Why did you choose the player, what are his abilities which you like and what ways can that player improved. Does the character plays an important factor when you choose the player?

    Troy Polamalu.

He never has a bad hair day.

Troy could improve by not getting injured so often.

When he is at his best, he is the best.

Ray Lewis is a great motivator! The Ravens org. can still use him after he is done playing.

Adrian Peterson, He runs like a beast, even after a career ending knee injury, he came back even stronger and may break the single season rushing record. Although I am a die hard Bears fan.......a Minnesota Viking is my favorite player. He's the epitome of perseverance.

That would have to be Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers.  Aaron is the unquestioned leader of the Packers offense, and he is so cool, calm, and collected to watch.  Besides being a good passer, he has good legs and is able to run for a lot of first downs and even touchdowns.

I can't tell you exactly what it is but I think Russell Wilson is my favorite right now. He seems to have that intangible leadership and wining quality about him. People rally around him like they do with a guy like Drew Brees. I think Russell can still improve his mid and short throws, but he is learning how to find the lanes given that he is less than 6 feet tall. Answering your last question, character is tremendously important. Without character, you don't make it in the NFL. Look at how many guys have been drafted in the first round and bust. You have to keep working and stay competitive. Many folks loose that once the contracts get signed.
