What’s the one thing you have wanted to do for a long time?
What is holding you back from doing that thing?
The one thing I've wanted to do for a long time is to travel to Poland to do some in-person family research. Over the past several years, I've been able to do some research there by hiring a local researcher who has given me much information. I would like to continue on what he started, but in person. A few things have held me back, but the main one is the cost. This is a trip that I'd like to take with my now 18 year old daughter. Between the price of airfare, accommodations while there, spending money, possibly having to hire a local to help with translation of records, I'm just not able to pay for it, although I have researched about what it will take to make it happen. One day, I'd also like to take my son, but I feel for a research trip, he's still too young.
While I'm there, I'd also like to take some time and photograph. There is so much history there and in surrounding areas.
I know that this trip will happen. The economy here has affected my business and plans just haven't moved forward yet due to a current lack of funds.
For a long time, I've wanted to strike the jackpot. What is holding me back is just 6 numbers of the correct combination. Any ideas as to how to go about getting it right?
I would love to travel to another planet and meet the locals. There are a lot of things holding me back on this one.
Ciel Clark, how do you know that there's life in another planet? You may be deeply disappointed when you arrive there to find yourself all alone, LOL.
I'd rather go to one of the unknown yet (logically) huge number of planet with locals, but even a trip to one without would be extremely cool.
I've wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle for years. I was able to do that when I took the Motorcycle Safety Course. Even someone who's never ridden can take the class.
I've always wanted to be in a relationship where I can experience what it feels like to be romantic and be kissed deep in the mouth. But my mind constantly tells me to wait. As I answer this question, it even whispered to me: " Are you sure you wanted to share that foolishness?'' I'm just kidding! The truth is, I don't need a relationship as of the moment (wanting to be into a romantic relationship is just an aside), but what I need is a break from all types of stress that constantly haunt me. However, my schedule cannot allow me to do so.
I want to fly aeroplanes, no matter it is a small one or a big one inluded the jet planes used by airforce (like F-16 or Sukhoi) and helicopter as well. When I graduated from my senior high school 24 years ago, actually I wanted to continue my study to a school for pilot or join an airforce academy. But I could not do it at that time owing to the condition that the cost of going to a pilot academy in Indonesia was so high for my family who will support my study during the training.
1 thing I really want to do since a long time is to find some time and go for a monsoon trek. So want to do this

If they asked for volunteers to go, on a one way space trip to a new planet, would you volunteer? To reach another planet, it would take so long that families may be sent, so that, even though the parents may die of old age, the children or grandchildren could reach and populate the new planet.
