How can I finish front edge of rv slide that has no carpet.
Had carpet replaced on slide in rv, the person laying the carpet did not bring it over the front edge. How can I finish the front edge so it looks good, slides easily without hanging and keeps cold or hot air out, weather strip or something, I have tried wood but it drags. Is there something flexible I could use. any suggestions will be helpful.
Can you use a piece of laminate wood flooring - glue it down? Trouble with that is you need a cutter. Some tile pieces maybe? My husband put wood laminate in the kitchen of our RV and up in the bath area - a bigger job than one would expect. It was the cheaper kind form Home Depot so it wasn't that thick. I can't think of other options that would look nice and still slide. Would a nice throw rug work? I'll ask some of our friends. We're in southern California at the Dunes - sold our home and we'll stay here off and on in winter when rates are lower. I'll ask our friends here at the park.

What is your flooring material preference?Wood, wood laminate, laminate designs, carpet or stone? I guess it depends on the room itself, but what's your preference?
