Jogging and brisk walking which is more effective?
There was a time I started brisk walking I noticed I lost few kg or pounds but when I jogged 5 rounds in a drive or large cirular field of about 350 meters for one week I lost 4kg over 8 pounds,how much more if I jogg three times in a week I believe I could loose 20 pounds.Tell me your openion
In my opinion, jogging is utilizing both more muscle groups and more aerobic activity; thus, jogging would win. Although jogging is significantly more impacting on bone and muscle and can indeed result in knee issues etc. Thus, one must discern if his/her bones etc. can endure the impact...

Basketball, tennis (singles), mogul skiing, and a few other sports are significantly stressful on joints (i.e. Knees); more so then jogging...
If you want fast result, go for the jog, if you want to takeitslow brisk walk. I prefer brisk walk

Is running in intervals more effective than straight out running?Which is more effective? Running for 30 minutes at one speed, or running for 30 minutes going back and forth between a comfortable run and a full out run?
