I just don't see the Raiders doing well without McFadden against the chargers. With him Carson Palmer will be much more effective.

The Raiders most definitely need McFadden. without him, no playoffs. it's unfortunate, because Jason Campbell was playing so well this year. Darn injury bug

I think Carson is better than Jason, but they both need Darren to be successful.

I think Carson is better too, but Campbell was playing very well in the Raiders system this year and I just think he knew the playbook better.

      I totally agree.

And I agree that McFadden that is a critical part of the offense. Bush is doing a great job, but he just doesn't have that last burst of explosiveness to turn a second cut into forty yards. The threat of that in McFadden keeps a defense honest, which helps any quarterback.

lol and this is from someone who thinks the Pats will beat the Jets and gives out NFL Passion's Midseason Awards with no mention of the best cornerback in the history of the NFL.

      wink

They do need mcfadden badly!!! Should be a good game tonight. If the raiders can fluster rivers they have a chance because there d is pretty good against the run.

I got to watch the game. CP minus the two turnovers looked good.

  22. Manny2437 profile image69
    Manny2437posted 13 years ago

The important thing is that the turnovers didn't cost the raiders

Michael Bush looked awfully good out there...maybe he finally has gotten past that nasty leg break when he was at Louisville.

    optimus grimlockposted 13 years ago

bush did look good hes not consitant enough but hes a good 2nd rb. The chargers d isnt great either and isnt vincent jackson missing or looks like hes lost at times! The leg break was bad but not as bad as willis mcgahees knee!

He is the life of that team. But, I watched him play in Cincy for 8 years. He is no where near who he once was. Without draft picks, one or two in 2012, they may be in trouble. Palmer was solid last night, but he throws too many picks.
