Where to Buy Cheap Kate Spade

Updated on June 13, 2013

Kate Spade is now what Ralph Lauren was for preppies in the 90s. Granted, Ralph Lauren is still a hot staple, but Kate Spade is fresh and new. If you love Tory Burch, you're definitely a future, die-hard Kate Spade fan. I first learned of Kate Spade through one of my favorite tv shows: Sex and the City. It was the episode when everyone's periods were linked up (besides Samanthas') and Charlotte was borrowing a tampon from Carrie and said "Well it just won't fit in my Kate Spade purse!" and then Samantha said "Kate must have a tiny vagina!". But I digress.

The Kate Spade brand is known for it's structure, fabulous colors and clean and crisp patterns. If you "belong to the Hamptons circuit", are a gossip-girl wannabe, or consider yourself a hot and trendy mom, then you must join in on the Kate Spade phenomenon.

Here I'll tell you about the cheapest ways to buy a Kate Spade handbag. It's tricky, but I certainly DO NOT condone fake handbags, and I believe in the idea of looking chic on a budget!

Amazon & Ebay

Amazon and Ebay are fabulous resources for the cash-strapped fashionista. There are advantages to both, but I highly recommend Amazon. The reason I'm EXTREMELY wary of Ebay when it comes to designers, is because a good majority of the name brand items are fake, and while Ebay does try to stop the counterfeit items, they can't keep up. It's difficult to become an expert in finding counterfeit items, because with every designer item, there are numerous things one has to look for.

I recommend buying from Amazon to guarantee that you are getting an authentic Kate Spade bag! One of my favorite things to do is look up a misspelling of an item. That way, if someone listed their item misspelled, it's unlikely to get as many competing visitors compared to the items that are spelled correctly!
