The true way to get rid of split ends it is to cut them off. I think trimming hair every couple of months, just a tiny bit, helps keep it down to a minimum.
No product will ever help the split ends, it might even make them worse. If you don't want to cut your hair too short, then just grab a pair of sharp scissors and trim yourself only the split and dry ends. Do it everytime you see split ends coming on
Go for herbal therapy and hot oil treatment. I prefer to use a special conditioner. You just need to mix few drops of jojoba oil with regular shampoo and conditioner. this will moisturize your hair and give softness.
The proper way to deal with split ends is to cut them off. Take a small section of hair as though you were going to put a roller in, run the hair through your first and second finger and cut off the damaged ends. Then take the next section and repeat. The term for this type of cutting is 'clubbing'. Be sure to only take off the very ends in this manner.
Your hairdresser is of course the best person to cut your hair in the longer term. There will probably be a reason for your split ends. Your hairdresser will be able to find the reason and remedy the situation for you.
Best Regards.

Should gender be a factor in the price of a haircut?$9.95 men cut, $12.95 and up for a woman. After a recent trip to the hair salon, I was made aware of this question. A nice young woman who was there got her hair cut short with the clippers, down to a burr, it took like 5 minutes. Fine with me,...
