How do you choose really good quality shoes?
I bought a pair of earth-type shoes a couple of years ago that I thought would last forever. The tops still look good. But the soles are worn down to the point that where the leather joins, it's frayed. It makes the shoes look old and tattered, even though they're not.
I choose on the basis of material it is made of and color and the most important COMFORT. If you are not comfortable after wearing and walking then surely one is in wrong shoes. Why you want to have last forever? nothing lasts. So, get a new pair for your feet so they can make you have good journey to make you happy and relax.

I lost my job about 6 months ago, and I'm thinking about opening a local shoe store and featuring comfort footwear. Anyone willing to share your favorite brands or trends you've noticed in footwear?
