Yes! It protects the neck from bitter cold and from catching colds. Besides, scarfs are very stylish garments, like men's ties. They add class.

That is what I think, but I am around "good 'ol boys" who don't seem to care about how great scarves are.  Thanks for responding and hoping you are staying warm.

I think so. It may not be something they would buy for themselves but a perfect extra for those on cold mornings to put up around the nose and mouth not to freeze! I have a dozen nearly and just am getting them out to make sure they are handy with these temperatures falling!

Definitely - nothing nicer than seeing a man dressed up in a gorgeous winter scarf

I've never yet worn a scarf as an adult, but now you've got me thinking about it! I'm moving to a slightly colder region soon and I need to bolster my winter wardrobe.

Robert the Bruce, Thanks for responding.  Yes.  A scarf will be such a great item to add to a winter wardrobe.

No I will not wear one this winter. Actually, I refuse to wear one. Now I must admit this decision may have something to do with latitude (changes in latitude, changes in attitude). I live in a somewhat tropical part of Florida...

      connorj,
I can see why a scarf in a warmer climate may not be a big deal.  Since you "refuse" to wear one is it the same kind of thing as refusing to wear a tie?  I know some guys who refuse to wear a tie.

Indeed it is... except if you are the Father of the Bride...
