Back to your question, I myself don't have much hair at all naturally. I once played a joke on some lesbian friends of mine. I shaved my whole body and put on a complete maid outfit!
Then I was their slave maid for the day! Got some naughty whipping from it, but I hated how they made me clean out the whole refrigerator!
Stick with a #3 setting on the clippers.
I don't mind chest hair at all.

Some drink red wine, some drink white, others prefer rose, some like sweet, some like dry, some prefer sparkling, others non-sparkling........ You catch my drift?
If you have a lot of body hair and it makes you uncomfortable, trim it. If there is one particular area you don't want hair, then remove only that hair. For example,I started removing my back hair because it itched under a shirt, especially in summer (and Australia has VERY long summers).
