Love Affair with My Laptop Computer

Honestly... it is true! My life has changed over the last five years, especially when I brought home my PowerBook G4 Laptop computer!

And I have never regretted it even once. In fact, I tell everyone I know, and then some -- get a laptop - if you are even thinking about upgrading your computer!

Computers have completely changed the way we "do" our lives - in just about every way "I" can think of! Computers are wonderful technology that I have come to become very dependent upon.

Now, I am certainly aware that I cannot possibly be addicted to an electronic contraption. Addiction is an extreme word to apply to computers and their many uses in our lives.

So, lets not call it an addiction - but I still must confess my OBSESSION with my sweet mac:-) We make such a cute pair - the tow of us... LOL that was a real typO - but sooo very appropriate that I must leave it in. Yeah! I am always having my computers in some way in "tow" just about everywhere I go...

Reason - it is because they are useful everywhere I take them on the GO - therefore - why would I not tow along that which simplifies, de-stresses and makes my life so slick in so many ways?

Now, that is it - my FIRST REASON that I love my computer! Computers are just down-right practical these days...

• COMPUTERS ARE JUST DOWN-RIGHT PRACTICAL

Let us just start out with the basics of the actual "naming" of this electronic piece of technology that we lovingly refer to as our "computer"....

• an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program.
• a person who makes calculations, esp. with a calculating machine.

Oh, look.... now we have really BECOME computers ourselves, because of the ability that we have to access these amazing machines! I am so very smart when I am sitting at my laptop. How about you? Why, I am just a regular encyclopedia at times - when I think of just how easy I am able to research or review and item or a subject and then suddenly become a EXPERT on a given topic!

Now... that's incredible and all this is brought to each other - by way of COMPUTERS and the ability that we are able to RECIEVE - made so convenient and practical!

• COMMUNICATION AND EDUCATION ARE AMAZING TO SAY THE LEAST!

Think about it.... we are able to communicate through email, online blogging, chatting, receiving our news in miliseconds about what is going on anywhere in the world.

If you don't have a personal blog these days... why - you are just living in the darkages! Did you know that? Oh... then you need to get a blog and start sharing everything about you and your life... even your dog's life can be made interesting on a blog.

I can see my family right-away and know what is going on in their lives - almost as it happens. You can post pictures of what is going on in your life and you can GET PICTURES about what is going on in life.
