Google Webmaster Tool Explained

When come to tools for webmasters then Googles has got so many tools that any webmaster can always use to improve their blogs and WebPages. From their Google Adwords programs that enables you to search for how a particular keyword is performing regarding its bid price by the advertisers, the competition this particular keyword is attracting and to the number of searches the keyword is able to get on a monthly both national and international searches. Many probably may have not used these programs and are wondering how one can benefit from them. Here is one of the Google tools known as Google Webmaster Tool that one can use to monitor, evaluate and redesign his or her blogs and websites. Getting your blogs and website into Google webmasters tool is very simple as it will cost you nothing.

To get started with Google Webmaster click on the Google Webmaster Tools, this will open the webmaster’s tool window where you can upload your site. Once you have verified your site, it will be listed on the Google Webmaster tool and you are now set to get the benefit of this wonderful tool. Now that you’ve installed the Google tool into your site the following are some of the features that you will be able to benefit as you use this tool

Top search queries

This will give you the number of searches your blog featured on the Google search engine. The query will shows the number of keyword searches and at what positions they did appear. So if your blog feature on a keyword as “Make Money with Google”. You will be able to see exactly at what page it did appear i.e. on 1, 2, 3, etc

Keywords

The other feature of Google Webmaster tool is that it will show your blogs keyword and their relevance to your page. The stronger the keyword is relevant to your blog the more searches it will receive on Google Search Engine

Link to your Sites

The beauty of this tool is that you will be able to who are the sites linking to you externally and those you are linking too internally. Other than internal and external links you will also be able to know your blogs pages which have already been index by Google Search Engine.
