How To Create Cool Signatures For Your Webmail E-mail Account
An e-mail signature is very common on e-mails from corporate email addresses; through the relative e-mail software (such as Outlook or Thunderbird), the user can add his contact and communication details at the bottom of every outgoing e-mail message. This way he can let the people he messages know of other ways of communicating with him, such as phone number, company address but also show his profession and position in the company. Such signature generating is not common in web-mail applications, for example Gmail, Yahoo Mail or Hotmail, but it can prove handy for some.
Wise Stamp is a free plug-in for your internet browser (at the moment supports Firefox, Chrome and Safari) which can help you create and setup interesting signatures for your webmail account.
Visit the link shown above and press Install. Your browser might notify you and ask for your permission for the installation; accept it, proceed with the installation and a browser reboot after it.
When the browser is running again, you need to adjust the options. Visit the relative menu for your add-ons/extensions and select Wise Stamp. Here you can view a tutorial video on how the tool will work, or move on the signature making.
The signature can be made easily, through a simple text editor. You can select through two kinds of signatures; one is personal and can be used for messages to friends or family, and the other is for business purposes. Creating the text to your personal tastes is easy, you can select your font and size, styles and formatting (such as bold, underline, etc). Furthermore, you can opt to add links (maybe to your company or personal website).
When the text part of the signature is completed, you can select the option Email Apps to add various web services, for example your social network account. In Design area you can add borders and other visual elements to your signature. When the result is satisfactory, click at Apply. From now on, the signature you generated will appear at all your e-mail messages.
