Are any of you using Pinterest yet and what do you think of it? I really like it so far.
I am just getting started - but it's so easy to use and I really enjoy creating the different pinboards. I can see collecting vision boards on here for all sorts of projects I want to create. It's very "visual" so I think that's why it appeals to me more than just bookmarks. Also it has the social networking aspect to it as well - very clever idea and it seems to really be taking off for good reason. Have you used it and what are your thoughts? What have you done with it?
I personally don't like it, it think that it is a service that is not necessary. I use tumblr for photo sharing, you can do pretty much the same thing and tumblr has more people interacting with you pictures.
I really like Pinterest. I like sharing the things I like and finding awesome craft ideas from others. I also look for any type of art that others share.
I've also started to share my articles there, too. Gotten some pretty good hits from there. Not a lot, but any time someone repins, that's good for me!
P.S. I'm the same name there!
I recently joined Pinterest and I am really enjoying it. Being a highly visual person it is great to have a place where I can view all of my favorite photos and ideas in one place. It's also been really handy in finding recipe and wedding ideas- two things I am very interested in. I also really like how it is a positive community. People go to Pinterest to be creative and have fun, so there isn't conflict like there can be on other social networking type sites.
I also a fan of Pinterest. It's rather addictive! I use Evernote to capture a lot of information and documents, but it just doesn't work as well for visually-oriented things as does Pinterest.
I started using it myself after I discovered others were bookmarking pieces from my own websites there. The only problem for me is that it's a little buggy, sometimes I can't get an image to pin, especially in Chrome. Anyway, I love how visual it is, it's addictive like StumbleUpon.

Is pinning to Pinterest a violation of copyright laws?Unless you are pinning your own work and pin someone else's work, you might be violating copyright as you do not own the rights to this work.

This thread connects to Web Examiner's recent thread about an epidemic use of lower case "i" in place of the proper letter "I" as a pronoun. http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/93177I find a similar common lazy shortcut when people use the "&" symbol in place of...
