I know how to make an image, such as Amazon product clickable using HTML. How do you use the HTML code so that you can add text just underneath the Image?
<a href="LINK ">TEXT</a>
is that what you mean?
Hi Linda, try this
<a href=""><img src="" alt=""><br>Text here</a>
Both image and text are part of the same link. The <br> tag is a break tag for the line and will put in link under the image.
If you are using two separate links you would do this
<a href=""><img src="" alt=""></a><br><a href="">Text here</a>
I hope this helps

PhoenixV: Yes, that is the code. I have put it after the code for the clickable image and put it underneath the clickable image code but the text always ends up on the side of the image. What am I doing wrong.
These are the codes I am using: <a href="http://www.destination.com"><img src="image.jpg" /></a>
<a href="url">Link text</a>
I am going to try this Gene. I know how to do it, but it has been so long that I have forgotten.

It is an excellent html editor and it is free.
I saw your question, but it looks like you're in good hands.
I had to do so much of this on my main website and I remember that it sure can make your head spin
Like you, I need a refresher now and then because I have little need for it these days.
Have a wonderful day everyone
gposchman I know I can do this with blogger and Weebly.
What I want it for is amazon products. I can make images clickable. I can make text clickable. What I can't figure out is how to get clickable text UNDER the clickable image. I have tried it with code for image and placed code for text beside each other and the image code first with code for text underneath, but the text always ends up at top of page or beside image
Gene: I sent message to you at FB, it is in the other box for PM's. I gave link to page of site, and code I used. You can see what happens.
Thanks Gene for helping. You saved the day.
Thanks to Jackie Jackson/ BritFlorida for helping as well.
Thanks to everybody who pitched to help.
Problem solved.

apparently I am not set up right for referrals to Amazon. I have the code but do not know where to find the place I paste the code to HTML. Also do I have to do this with every hub I write?

There are some sites I would like to link to and they've given me a HTML source code to use. Now it says "copy the following code and paste it into the HTML for your web page". I hope I don't sound stupid, but if I'm writing a hub where is the HTML for my hub?
