It depends on what you like to do.
If you want to build an online authority start with
Your blog (blogger/wordpress)
Twitter
facebook
this way you are able connect all of them. If you're doing your job very well you get a better reach
It depends on what you want to do. If its web promotion facebook wins hands down. It has better tools and a huge amount of subscription. Second only to twitter and Youtube
I personally use facebook due to the larger amount of fun applications. but myspace wins for making your profile truly look unique. I would personally look at what each site offers you and choose the one that gives you more of what you want.
check out my hub on it if you want
I'll say a bit of both.
Face Book because I can communicate with my friends and family a whole lot faster and easier than Myspace. The site is short, sweet, and to the point.
Myspace, on the other hand, allows my to set up a personalize my profile. I like this because I don't feel like a clone, and it shows off a little of my personality.

Does social networking bring us closer together, or further apart? While sites like facebook and twitter enable us to share vast amounts of our lives with others in an instant, are our intereactions in fact becoming shallower?
