What is the best "free antivirus software" to use?
I have used AVG, Trend defender, Norton, and F-secure. Is there another one that is free?
'Spybot search and destroy' is a free (donationware) scanning program that detects and removes malware/spyware and tracking cookies etc. Its not antivirus as such - it doesn't continually monitor your system or block suspect packages from the web - but it is free and it does work.
I use Avast and prefer it to AVG and Norton.
I think its Avast. but i will reccommend you this one if you know the portuguese: http://doctor.v9.com/
