Why do you press harder on a remote-control when you know the battery is dead?
We always believe that if we press harder, somehow even if the battery is slightly dead it'll work. This is usually the case, because the harder you push batteries the more they intercept the message.
Because your mind tricks you in believing, this works for real. Bying new ones would be more effective I'd say:-)
Every time you try to push harder, you're making a fool of yourself in a hilarious kind of a way. At least you're learning something funny about yourself.
It is funny when you watch people button bashing though. You even point at the tv in a more aggressive way to ensure the channel changes! lol
