I took the RAM out of my computer to check it, reseated it, and now my computer won't boot up.
Any ideas anyone? Any techies out there? *(It's a SDRAM in a Dell Dimensions, running WIN XP)
Take it back out and try again. Make sure you put it back exactly as it was before. Then try rebooting.
Unless you gave it an ESD (electric-static discharge), it should work. Please try re-installing RAM.
Take it out dust it lightly as dust prevents it from re-booting at least that way my case. Then try again and let us know if it works.
