What camera would you recommend for a newbie photographer?
Cameras scare me . . . but I really need to get one and learn to take good photos for this site (and for things like Ebay). What camera would you recommend / do you use? What options on the camera would you recommend/not recommend?

Nikon D5000 is also a great shout! Not particularly difficult to figure out and gives you some great images!

I love taking pictures and I want to eventually become better at it and start doing professional pictures.
