What is the best way to protect yourself from fraud on the internet?
I'm thinking of fraudulent pay-to-click sites, hackers, spam, phishing and stuff like that.
Avoid these sites, pop ups, pop unders, surveys, trial offers, and free anything. Do not open email from any unknown sender. Never give your bank or credit card info online for transactions that were not initiated by you. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true it is. Too many find out the hard way.
Get a really good virus protection software installed on your computer. I also suggest what Express10 writes, it is the best practice to keep in mind when online.
