Its almost 24 hours and my hub isn't published yet why is it so???
I am also relatively new to HubPages (I joined months ago but didn't do anything except throw in a few half hearted articles, I am back for good now and am publishing fast ) so my advice will need to be verified. But I think your article did not pass the QAP (the new quality assessment criteria they've put into place). I am not sure if they'll even send a notification if the article doesn't qualify to be published, but in the meanwhile you can spruce up your article will photos, videos and polls etc. I think that will increase the chances of your article getting approved. Of course, the content will have to be unique, high quality and well written (I think that goes without saying).
All the best to you Rija.
Go to the help center of hub pages there you get an option " I have questions about the status of my Hubs" select this option and send it to the hub team or you can look at FAQ http://hubpages.com/faq/ i am sure this will help you.

By a top-quality Hub, I mean one that is more than 1,000 words, contains original or carefully chosen photos from other sources, gets a Hubscore at least into the 80s if not the 90s and is Featured. It may or may not be an Editor's Choice. By hours, I mean research, writing, editing and promoting.
