What PHP version does your site / hosting need to be at to upgrage to Joomla 3.2?
I believe it is 5.3.1 or higher, at least it was when we installed it few weeks ago.
According to Joomla the minimum PHP version required is 5.3.1, while I do not now use Joomla, I would go with the recommended 5,4. You can get all the technical requirements at
