What exactly is the name for our duplicate content filter application?
I would like to know the exact name for applications that detect duplicate content. I suspect that uses others may have for these applications may not involve user generated content websites. I feel it lends credibility to any discussion if I at least know the lingo.
Copyscape calls itself a plagiarism checker. That seems like a good term.
