How can I call/text the Philippines from the USA for free?
I have a windows 8 laptop and a Nexus 7.
It can have calling, texting, or both.
Must be completely free.
Must allow the other person to reply without installing anything.
If it's an android app it must be able to rotate when I rotate the screen.
You can call the Philippines for free by using Skype or Viber. First of all, you have to create an account that is free with Skype. You have to make sure that the person you are calling in the Philippines has a Skype account too. If not try Viber. I haven't tried this but check it out on Google what they say about it. If you got a Facebook account, you can chat to whoever in the Philippines for free. But I don't think you can send free text to the Philippines.
Use Google Voice. It's an app download it for free. And call using your 3G or wifi. Its free all over the USA but I m not sure about the Philippines, go check 'em out
