Solar energy, wind power, technology to use these freely available energy sources to rid ourselves of the rest of the world's dependence on oil.
We have the energy available to run every private and industrial business in our own country. We can clean up our environment before we sink to the pollution that is China.
These resources are already being tapped.
Not nearly enough. Solar energy could power the entire Texas grid alone. The NE grid could probably be run from it too. We don't need coal anymore, except for idiots who refuse to ge tinvolved. Natural gas & fracking rbig no nos
That may be true, but I was thinking of an even more plentiful resource that is there night and day, and it is replenished daily.
No, if no one guesses it, I will reveal it tomorrow.
The answer that I was looking for is GARBAGE.
Some industries, and companies have been able to process their garbage into useful energy.
Chicken processing plants have a lot of waste and chicken burns nicely, and can produce power, including the power to run the creating of power.
We have a never ending resource in the form of garbage. The utilize more garbage as energy we have to invent new processes.
You make a good point! Garbage is already a multi-million dollar industry. I didn't even think of it. We have one guy here in Austin that makes a living from dumpster diving! He makes over 6 figures a year!
Yes, and that is just salvage value. When I live on Long Island we had people that cleaned cesspools, so dumpster diving is even more rewarding. Just image how many soda cans can be found at the dump.
What is left after salvage, conv to energy.

Is Solar Energy for home viable?Does anyone have a real experience with solar power for your home? I would like to know if it is economically feasible in the North East area of the US. Thanks.

What's your favorite form of energy?I like emotional energy.... but, in the quantum sense of the word, I think light is dandy.
