It's the last date on the Mayan calendar, that much is completely real. It's also true that the Mayan calendar has had kind of an eerie closeness to real events to date, and that a lot of people believe the Mayans were crazy advanced beyond what we know.
That said, whether or not the world is going to end in 2012, that reaches a bit beyond the facts above in my opinion.
The calendar, like the Medicine Wheel and the Karmic Wheel are circular. One season ends, a new one begins. Major world shaking change...yes. End of everything. No.
Always clever, Rochelle.
I'm with you on this one. (As usual.)
oh geez...I'm gonna witness the worlds next destruction...gotta get a 3D shades from the cinema house...
Don't panic. Real stories aren't always true stories.
LOL, how can you tell its a real story??haha
no one knows...may i ask you a question??
does anyone been into the future???
...hope its not true, lets just have faith in GOD
Weird thing... I just popped in this post and they started talking about 2012 - end of the world on TV. IT'S A SIGN! GOD SAVE US ALL!!!
global flooding and birds falling from the sky.
Might be 2012 is the climax for something going on.
Yes. Death will claim us all through the course of time.
S/He who dies with the most toys, and hefty bank balance, is still dead.
i think its only a "BS",lol
no one knows what will happen when that year comes..lets just wait for the year to come..lets see what will happen,
...hope it will be a happy 2012,,
belated happy new year to you guyzzzzz
2012 is just the year that all this planetary solar system related stuff happens, which happens ever 2000 years. The whole calendar thing is not true. For one, they realized that their calculations of the calendar are not correct. Two, there have been many interviews with the last Mayan people, who have all said it's a bunch of hype, and they don't get why scientists are making such a big deal about it. Here's the thing people don't seem to pay attention to. Scientists are just people like us, paid a lot of money to mess around with things and tell the world what their opinion on a subject is. For some odd reason every one likes to believe their opinions are completely true. I would guess do to their being labeled a "scientist." The world will be ending in 2012 for all those who get so scared of the media hype that they choose to kill themselves. This happens a lot. Let's recount past times such as "6/6/6" and "Y2K" and the years before then. All these false prohpets want nothing more than to scare people and gain control from it.

Do you believe in 2012?It seems as though Nostradamus's predictions are coming true. Dead birds falling from the sky, animals dead washing up on shore, terrible storms, earthquakes, droughts, floods..9/11 the list goes on. Do you believe in his prediction about the end of the world in 2012? Why or...
