Today I was blocked on info barrel from posting comments in the forum, and from starting anther info barrel.
I've sent messages to admin twice now.
I have no idea how I couldn't be a "verified author" on that site, I've only published a dozen "barrels."
Is anyone else having problems over there?
I like Info Barrel - but if they don't want my content, I can surely put it elsewhere.
Publishing a dozen articles there doesn't automatically make you preapproved; I have won many awards for writing, and published many "overview" articles that were approved and are judged more strictly, and I still had to write almost twenty articles before I was preapproved (this was in 2009, when the site was much less busy than it is now). The ten articles merely means you go at the end of the queue of authors that have met the minimum requirements to be considered for preapproval. As you know, very few people are on staff at IB.
Since the admins take the weekends off, perhaps you will have an answer on Monday. I looked at your forum comments and could not see a problem, but perhaps someone hit the "Spam" button when they accidentally meant to hit the "Reply" button. Or, maybe, it's a bug. In any case you can friend me on there and if you don't get an answer by Tuesday morning, I'll contact the admins on your behalf to see what the problem is.
Hey, Thanks - but I'm not talking about being "pre approved." They wouldn't let me post in the forums, or start another article.
If admin over there doesn't get back to me with something or some kind of answer or whatever, soon - my barrels will turn into hubs. I don't understand the thing, and never got anything in the mail about it (e mail).

So far I have been faithful in writing exclusively for HP alone. But has any other hubbers out there heard of the writing site, Suite101.com? I was considering signing up at this site as well. However I do not believe that there payout is as good as HP. And in addition it appears that they could be...

How long does it take Info barrel to approve articles?I have recently written a how to article on info barrel. It says it will be reviewed soon. How long does it take to get articles approved? Info barrel seems to be a lot different in that aspect compared to hubpages.

I'm thinking of joining Info Barrel but before doing so I'd like to know:1. Does it work, is it worth joining?.2. Does it pay out outside of the United States? EHow for exampleonly pays U.S. citizens at the moment and I live in Spain.

I just joined InfoBarrel out of curiousity and I like it ok. I haven't been on there long enough to have much of an opinion. Has anyone here done good with it?

Can I submit the same articles which I had published in Info Barrel in Hub pages?
