In recent years, Sentosa has been rapidly developing. One of the latest and most interesting attractions to open at Sentosa Island is definitely the integrated resort, Resorts World Sentosa. Here, you could easily spend your entire day as there is so much to do and experience.
Once you alight from the monorail at Waterfront Station or the bus which brings you into Sentosa Island, the Resorts World Sentosa is clearly visible. The resort itself is huge as it comprises of various hotels such as the Hard Rock Hotel, Hotel Michael and Festive Hotel.
Fun for the Young and Young at Heart
For the young and also young at heart, the Universal Studios Singapore is definitely a huge attraction. There are rollercoaster rides, wet rides and explosive performances! Also look out for "characters" like Frankenstein and Marilyn Monroe for photo-taking opportunities. Gift shops with Universal Studios memorabilia on sale are also available at the entrance plaza and within the theme park. However, outside of the theme park there are also other options. The Marine Life Park has finally opened at the end of 2012. Here, you can enjoy the beauty of the underwater world and the various sea creatures. On the other hand, candy lovers can head to Candylicious and Hershey's. The delicious Garrett Popcorn also has a branch here.
Chill Out at Hard Rock Cafe
Relax at Resorts World Sentosa
After exploring the area, you can choose to relax your feet at the Hard Rock Cafe. For coffee lovers, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf also has an outlet at Level 1. For those who are seeking 100% rejuvenation, a more suitable option would be Spa Republic located within Festive Hotel.
If you are feeling hungry, there are plenty of dining options here too. From Chinese cuisine at Feng Shui Inn to Japanese cuisine at Hotaru to buffets at the Starz Restaurant, all these and more are available within the resort itself. You don't have to wander off or take the monorail to another destination to fulfill your hunger pangs!

Fun for the Adults
For the adults, Resorts World Sentosa also offers various choices. You could try your luck at the casino here. At the moment there are only 2 casinos in Singapore, with the other at Marina Bay Sands. Besides gambling, you can also hang out with family and friends at the Mulligan's Irish Pub & Restaurant. For shopaholics, head to the Galleria where you will find brands like Victoria's Secret and Jimmy Choo.
Near Resorts World Sentosa
From Resorts World Sentosa, you can easily head out to other attractions within the island via bus or monorail. From here, it is also easy to visit Vivocity, a shopping mall. In fact, you would most likely have taken the monorail from level 3 of Vivocity. Do drop by the Resorts World Sentosa for a day of fun if you are visiting Singapore!
