And we have it in abundance. If you love the water and being on and in it, then Destin real estate, and the Florida panhandle is the place to be. And with miles of pristine beach, millions of square miles of water, and some of the easiest and quickest access to the 100 Fathom Curve for deep water, Destin, FL, and the surrounding areas is where watersport heaven exists.

Destin Fishing

Known for its outstanding fishing and closeness to the 100 Fathoms Curve, Destin is known as the world’s luckiest fishing village. Destin offers all fishing types, such as pier, beach, jetty, deep sea, offshore, and inshore fishing, as well as fishing rodeos and other large events. Many kinds of fish caught here in Florida do not require the use of a boat at all, and are caught along the bridges, banks, and piers locally. Inshore trolling is one of the more popular methods of catching using this method is cobia, which will put up a great fight. Destin Deep Sea fishing is one of the more popular choices for fishing charters, as the fishing is good year round, and yields large numbers of fish. With a large fleet of private fishing vessels, most which can accompany parties of 25-105, you can be sure to bring all of your friends for a day out on the water you won’t forget. Offshore trolling begins at the 50 fathom curve mark, and is excellent for sport fish such as marlin, sailfish, and wahoo.

Boating/Boat rentals

With hundreds of miles of pristine beachfront property, as well as hundreds of miles of inshore property, boating goes hand in hand with this area like peanut butter and jelly on bread. Plenty of the locals can be found on their days off floating around the bays, bayous, rivers, lakes, and anywhere else a boat owner can have some fun. And with boat rentals and Destin jet ski rentals limning the beaches and waterways, threes no reason or excuse you cant join in on all the action and fun as well. rent a pontoon for the day and leisurely explore the bayous and admire the multi-million dollar homes located deep in the backwoods. Get a fishing boat and go out for the day and see what your luck reels in. Rent some jet skis and go for a adrenaline adventure out in the gulf as you speed across the water at hyper fast speeds. Bring your boat and anchor up just a stones throw from the USCG Station Destin, out at Crab Island and enjoy all that summer brings as you wade across a "island". Crab Island, while not technically a island, is the sand bar you can see in the Destin pass, that has been formed by dredging the Destin pass. Also popular with tourist's and locals alike, the yearly boating poker runs, as well as the HarborWalks Parade of Boats, Destin is a mecca for boat owners and aquatic lovers alike.
