    New Zealand has great options for hiking and trails. You can take the "all arranged" option or go independently. On either you need to book your overnights stays in advance due to limited hut size, especially on the main trails.

    Edinburgh is great for walking around. Not only will you be able to immerse yourself in history, but the numerous hills will sure give you a workout.
