How hard will it be to get a OTR job after 3 to 4 yrs off taking care of terminal family...
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. While this is one of the worst job markets we have seen in a long time, if you have prior experience as a over the road truck driver, your prospects may not be too bad. No long gap in a employment history is helpful, but your case is certainly understandable. There are OTR employers that will train people with zero experience. Any experience plus a class A CDL should put you miles ahead. Good luck and good hunting!
