very tricky question based on my experience i think it will be maybe at least 20 years if it does get better..... we have tried like 4 multi million dollar experiments none have succeded so its hard to say but great question
It is difficult to clean that mess unless the US government has a new technology to do that. It will take years to clean it using the present technology.
