Where Do You Stay When You Visit New York City?
I'm planning a trip there soon but I haven't ever been there before. I asked my friends on twitter, but would love your input as well.
The W hotel, cnr of 49th and Lexington. It's in Midtown, so it's handy for walking everywhere. You can get pretty good deals depending on the time of year. The rooms are small but stylish. Has a great bar - the Whiskey Bar (I think that's what it's called) downstairs.
There are actually lots of hotels in New York. You can stay in cheap hotels if you want to save money or you can stay in a five star hotel if you have enough resources.
MayG, thanks for the recommendation. I have always enjoyed staying at W's.
