   Does anyone know of a favorite travel destination for travel with children during the summer months
   
   We are trying to find a good location for a family reunion during the summer and we've decided a good mid way point is southern Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, western N.C. or Virginia..We want to be sure there is plenty to do for grammar school age children.  After all the adults will enjoy visiting but it's important that the children have fun things to do.

   All summer long, Myrtle Beach is full of families. Over 1 million people visit every week.  Everyone of the cities you mentioned above come here year after year.  It's the most driven to and most affordable beach destination.  Depending on the length of your stay, many families reunions rent the huge oceanfront beach houses and split the cost to help make it affordable.  It may be more than you are looking for but it's an option.
