What are some tips for parents who want/need to travel with a newborn child?
Usually pediatricians does recommend mother to travel with new born in the first month, as they are so much delicate and need to adjust with the new situations and there is chances of infections. In spite of these, if you need to travel, try booking or finding a comfortable and hygienic travelling option. Keep the baby closer to mother- say can use a sling type carrier. Do feed at times, it will be better to stop and feed, as the condition while travelling may disturb the baby. If the baby is sleeping don’t try waking him at times and disturbing, let him take rest. Take with you all the needed medicine for the baby instructed by the pediatricians – like drops for cold, fever and nasal spray etc.
